    Frequently asked questions about Hosting and Domain

    Hosting and Domain are essential to be able to publish a website and are often sold together, so if you are creating your website from scratch you need to purchase both the Web Hosting service and the Internet domain, follow the guide on how to buy hosting and domain

    If you already own an internet domain and you do not intend to transfer it to Xlogic Hosting, you can purchase only the Hosting service from us to point to the domain after changing the Name Servers from the domain’s DNS panel, follow the guide on how to purchase only the Hosting service

    Find out which domains you want to register, and if they’re available, complete the purchase process. Is the domain already taken? No problem! Choose another domain name or change the domain’s TLD. Follow the guide at how to register a domain or how to purchase hosting and a domain

    To transfer a domain to Xlogic Hosting, you must request the authentication code from your current provider. You must also ensure that the domain is not protected by Whois, is not blocked (locked), and has not expired, otherwise it cannot be transferred. The domain transfer will take a maximum of 5 days, during which you will receive a confirmation email from the registrar, which you must confirm. For more information, see the domain transfer page.

    The system will send you several emails before the expiration date reminding you to renew your services. For your hosting plan, a proforma invoice will be automatically issued, and for your domain, you’ll receive an email with a link to generate the proforma invoice.

    You have 30 days from expiration to renew the domain by paying both the renewal and unlocking fees, which vary based on the extension. After 30 days, the domain may be permanently blocked and no longer renewable, requiring you to wait for the Registrar to release it before re-registering.

    If the domain is in the Redemption Period, Pending Delete, or Quarantine status, Xlogic Hosting will require an additional unlocking fee.

    The invoice in your Customer Area is not a valid tax document. You will receive the electronic invoice within the legal deadlines via the channel indicated in your profile (Unique Code or PEC). If you have not specified a channel, you can view it directly in the dedicated area of ​​the Revenue Agency.
