The new Backup Storage spaces offer a secure and convenient way to store your data on our servers. With our Storage Backups, you can access your files at any time and from anywhere with an Internet connection. It is also simple to connect your PC and access Storage Backups with your smartphone and/or tablet. The various Backup Storage plans allow you to choose the storage option best suited to your specific needs.

Frequent questions

Access via FTP/FTPS

You can access your Backup Storage using FTP. Use the assigned hostname or IP address, username and password. Note that an FTP connection is not encrypted; only FTPS is encrypted. Software: Filezilla.

Log in via SFTP/SCP

Using SFTP and SCP, you can access your fully encrypted Storage Backup. Windows software: WinSCP, FileZilla. Linux software: Scp, sFtp, FileZilla. Android Software: ES File Explorer, and FTP.

Jet Backup (only with cPanel)

JetBackup is a backup solution for cPanel. JetBackup allows you to back up your cPanel account quickly and efficiently through cPanel Remote or local and remote incremental backups. Settings such as automating backups and restores on a cron job are included and wrapped in an intuitive GUI. Jet Backup can be used on our Backup Storage and costs only €8 per month, the software will be installed and configured by our technicians on your VPS or Dedicated Server.

Upgrade / Downgrade

An upgrade or downgrade to another Backup Storage is possible at any time without data loss. Your login details remain the same. A downgrade is only possible if less space is used than was available after the downgrade.

Reliability

The files on the Backup Storage are protected by a RAID configuration capable of withstanding various drive failures. Please note, however, that you are responsible for your data and there is no guarantee from Xlogic against potential data loss.
